My name is Kerstin Voelker. I grew up in Germany and moved to Abu Dhabi 15 years ago. I qualified as a nursery teacher in Germany and started off my career in Early Years Education. I have also been working with special needs children in a care home, at the German School in London, and as a music teacher. In Abu Dhabi, I managed various early years settings over the past 10 years. I absolutely love being part of the children’s learning journey and working in close partnership with parents.

I am Ruby Blanco, from the Philippines. I am a certified English teacher who has taught in middle school and primary education. I transitioned to Early Years Education 9 years ago and moved to Abu Dhabi for 5 years now to continue my professional growth. I am a friendly and outgoing person. I love reading short novels and watching movies from time to time. Having fun with outdoor activities like hiking and beach trips also occupies my spare time.
My name is Carol Pachirera. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
During my 7 years living in Abu Dhabi, I have worked in various early years settings. I started my teaching career over 12 years ago. In my spare time, I enjoy doing DIY projects and spending time with my family.
My name is Fortunate Makwanya and I am from Zimbabwe. I am a holding a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in addition to being a qualified Early Years Practitioner. During my 8 years of working as a teacher in various early years settings in Abu Dhabi, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and extended my love of teaching further each year. I am passionate about meeting new people.
My name is Nada Elbjairmi. I am from Palestine, born and raised in the UAE. I have experience working in an Elementary School and have recently transitioned to Early Years Education. I am holding a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Childhood Education. During my free time, I love to watch movies and spend time with my family.
I am Deana, from Canada.I have a BA in child development and have taught in the UAE for 6 years in primary education. I have lived and practiced in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and moved back to Abu Dhabi in 2021. I am very outgoing and energetic, I love dancing and singing. I run marathons for fun and enjoy spending time with my family.
My name is Malohat. I grew up in Tajikistan (a small country in Central Asia), where I completed my university studies in humanities. I am a licensed CACHE Level 3 qualified teacher for kids from 0-5 years of age and have been involved in Early Years Education for more than five years, mostly working with nurseries in Abu Dhabi. I am also a certified Special Educational Needs Coordinator. My main goal as an Early Years Educator is to encourage and support children’s freedom to explore, develop their confidence, and nurture their creativity by discovering new things, getting messy and doing things for themselves. My family and I have lived in Abu Dhabi for 8 years and we enjoy learning about all the things and people that this country has to offer. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing physical exercises, and reading books.
l am Amina Moolla from Johannesburg, South Africa, where I completed a Diploma in Pre-Primary Teaching and Early Childhood Development, NQF Levels 4 and 5. I am passionate about teaching and have taught in South Africa for 15 years, 5 years in Al Ain, and 1 year in Abu Dhabi. I love travelling, tasting different cuisines, watching movies, and love spending time with friends and family.
I am Ifiok Ikeagu, from Nigeria. I am a certified Early Childhood Educator and Positive Discipline Educator who has taught in various Early Years settings in Nigeria and here in the UAE. I moved to Abu Dhabi 9 years ago where I have continued to follow my passion for teaching young children and develop professionally. I am a very bubbly and outgoing person who loves to visit new places, play tennis, and spend time with my children.
I am Heba El-Shinawy, and I come from Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Abu Dhabi has been a second home to me for the past 10 years. Originally qualifying in Dentistry, I found my passion in teaching young children and spending time with them. I completed my SEND Diploma in 2016 and I have 4 years of experience in various early years settings. I am a mother of two boys and I appreciate and feel amazed by the different characters of the children and encourage them to express themselves.
