My name is Kerstin Voelker. I grew up in Germany and moved to Abu Dhabi 15 years ago. I qualified as a nursery teacher in Germany and started off my career in Early Years Education. I have also been working with special needs children in a care home, at the German School in London, and as a music teacher. In Abu Dhabi, I managed various early years settings over the past 10 years. I absolutely love being part of the children’s learning journey and working in close partnership with parents.

My name is Jhoy Ligaya. I’m a passionate toddler teacher with over 10 years of experience working in nursery settings with children ages 0-5. Originally from the Philippines, I studied Hotel and Restaurant Management before discovering my true calling in early childhood education. This led me to pursue a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education here in Abu Dhabi, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to nurture and support young learners. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children in various stages of their early development, and it has been incredibly rewarding to contribute to their growth and learning in such a hands-on, meaningful way.
